Food Packaging

Home > Products > Food ProduceFood PackagingFormTight is a manufacturer of custom packaging for the produce, meat, poultry and general food industries.  We supply trays that are overwrapped, sit on grocer's shelves or transport product from one production location to another.  We supply clamshells (both two piece and with a living hinge) to these industries for product that ends up in produce and meat coolers for final sale to the public.  We manufacture these products using FDA certified materials such as Co-Polymer Polypropylene, Oriented Polystyrene, Polyethylene, PET, High Impact Styrene, PLA, and others. We can also manufacture trays and clamshells from microwavable materials that can also be blast frozen.  This allows the consumer to take your product from the freezer to the microwave with little prep time.

FormTight also has a stock mushroom tray program in which we produce trays to your order from our molds.  We offer 8, 12, 16, 24, and 40 ounce sizes.  If these sizes do not fit your needs, we can build custom molds to fit your product.

FormTight also offers stock tomato trays as well as a clamshell container product line.  The clamshells are made from clear RPET.  We offer three-pack and cherry tomato clamshells.  We also stock four-pack and six-pack tomato trays made from clean RPET, black RPET, and various colored High Impact Styrenes.

FormTight can build custom trays to your specifications or assist you in designing one to fit your needs.  We pride ourselves on being able to meet each customer's specific needs.  We take you from prototyping to production in approximately four to six weeks.   Prototypes normally take about one and a half weeks from the time we identify your need.  When approval has been given, we require four weeks to tool up, get the raw materials produced and begin production.
