Medical Device Packaging & Medical Trays

FormTight produces many different types of thermoformed medical packaging, including:

  • Plastic Medical Trays
  • Clamshell Packages
  • Inner and Outer Medical Tray Sets

Following are the most common materials utilized by Form Tight to manufacture medical packaging:

  • FDA-certified medical grade high impact styrene (HIPS)
  • Glycol-modified polyethylene terephthalate (PETG)
  • Polyethylene terephthalate (PET)
  • Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)
  • Polypropylene (PP)

These materials are certified by FormTight and our vendors to meet your specifications. Most of the medical packaging solutions we produce are filled, sterilized, and then forwarded to hospitals, clinics, physicians` offices, and operating rooms around the country.

We pride ourselves on keeping our manufacturing floor clean and we are audited annually by our customers to meet their standards of bio-burden and cleanliness. In addition to producing medical packaging that meets the highest of standards in the medical field, we can make medical trays that are used for shipping product to and from your customer(s). Such medical trays can be produced using FDA materials when required.

From protyping to production, turnaround time is usually four to six weeks. Prototypes normally require 10 days production from design approval. Upon prototype sample approval, we require four weeks for tooling and receipt of raw material to begin production.

Contact FormTight today for your medical packaging and medical tray needs.
